When I decided to do a web page on the genealogy of my family, it became apparent that it would be best to split the page into the four families represented by my four grandparents. My father's parents, Thomas F. Kennedy and Minnie Ahrenbeck, and my mother's parents, James L. Thompson and Sallie W. Austin. I have also included a section called "characters of the family". This section is dedicated to individuals who are "characters" or show the character of the people of their times. Also included is a section called "cemetery tour". This section has a brief description of the cemeteries I have visited while researching these families. No information on living persons is included in these pages.
